I began my career over 20 years ago in Post Secondary Education at THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK in ALBANY, New York. That experience laid the foundation for my continued sacrifice and dedication to students impacted by policies and regulations that fight against their educational growth rather than advancing it; exhibiting the lack of administrative leadership that can effectively stabilize our children’s future. As an experienced leader in the K-12 system, I proudly worked to support the academic achievements of our most academically and behaviorally challenged youth. I have been a stalwart for our public schools, fighting for funding and parity for our economically disadvantage districts. Throughout my career as an licensed administrator, educator, and behavioral specialist, I have and will continue to be, a voice of power and advocacy for the students, faculty, staff and schools that need it the most.
As a business owner, I’m keenly aware of the needs of our small business community and the challenges they face meeting a budget, making staffing decisions, planning for the future, as well as, a rainy day. My experience cultivating relationships, building a brand reputation, and organizing strategic plans, gives me the knowledge, skills, and ability to lead District 21 as your next Delegate. I will bring all of my life and professional experiences with me to serve the residents of District 21. My focus and my heart will always bend towards fairness and equality for all.
